The dog license fees for the year 2010 are as follows:
Dog Licenses - not spayed or neutered : $35.00
Dog Licenses - spayed or neutered : $20.00
In order to help avoid disputes with dog owners regarding the spay/neuter program, please note that to qualify for the $20.00 spay/neuter license fee, the dog owner must attach supporting documentation from their veterinarian to the tag order form.
If the owner does not have any written documentation at the time of purchasing the dog license, then the owner will have to pay the full price of $35.00. If the owner subsequently submits the confirmation from a veterinarian that the dog has been spayed or neutered, then we will reimburse the difference in license fees.
However, as we have to be consistent, no dog license will be sold at the discounted price if the written confirmation is not provided and attached to the receipt.
