August 2, 2014 BADASS DASH at the ROC - 26479 Civic Centre Road. An exciting new event is coming to York Region for the first time. BADASS Dash is an Adventure/Obstacle race that will feature 30 unique, challenging and fun obstacles sprawled across a 7km course located at the Town of Georgina's Recreation Outdoor Complex (The ROC). August 16, 2014 Painted Perch Festival - Jackson's Point Parkette. Jackson's Point Village Association BIA will be hosting their 3rd Annual Painted Perch Festival in Jackson's Point. It will be an afternoon and evening of fun and excitement for the whole family. The kids can enjoy games, crafts and face painting and there will be live music featuring lots of local talent. September 9 - October 2, 2014 Georgina Seniors Games - Take part in the 2014 Georgina Senior Games and enjoy a variety of games and competitions happening throughout Georgina. Opening Ceremonies are on Tuesday, September 9th at 11 a.m. at Pefferlaw Community Centre & Hall. Pre-registration is required. Deadline to Register: September 4, 2014. September 13, 2014 Georgina Harvest Dinner at the Kin Community Hall, Sutton Fairgrounds on 3 Fairpark Lane. Doors open at 5:00 pm Dinner at 6:00 pm. This benefits the Georgina Food Pantry.
