January 27, 2015 Family Literacy Day: Celebrate Family Literacy Day with activities for children of all ages and an Applefun Puppetry puppet show starting at 6 p.m. at the Keswick Branch Library. Tickets may be picked up at your local branch library starting on January 13.

February 1, 2015 Join Allure Hair Creations for the "6th Haircut for Hospice" in support of Hospice Georgina. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for a $20 donation minimum, you'll receive a wash, cut, and style! *NEW* Crystal Pangman's "Georgina Challenge" will also be taking hair donations! February 5 - March 19, 2015 Basic Introduction to Genealogy: Learn how to search your family tree with Hessel Pape in this free, five week session at the Sutton Branch Library (every Thursday except February 12 & March 12). Register in person at the library or call 905-722-5702 (spots are limited).
February 7, 2015 SNOFEST 2015: Join us for Georgina's wintery FREE Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 7 from 10 AM to 3 PM at The ROC and Georgina Pioneer Village & Archives. With many activities for all ages, you and your family won't want to miss out on this snowy event that will warm up your winter! February 7, 2015 The Town of Georgina and Georgina Public Libraries are teaming up to try and break the Guinness World Record for the most people wearing underwear as toques at SNOFEST 2015! Why? Captain Underpants author, Dav Pilkey has challenged libraries across Canada to host an event to win a framed pair of underpants signed by the author! For this exciting event, Town Staff are working on reaching The Ellen DeGeneres Show to send us her brand of underwear called "Ellen Undies" - But, we need your help! All you have to do is send Ellen DeGeneres a short message via Twitter and Facebook, asking her to send the Town of Georgina "Ellen Undies"! February 14, 2015 Valentine's Day Sweetheart Swim - At the Georgina Leisure Pool (5279 Black River Rd. Sutton) from 2:00pm - 3:30pm. Bring your sweetheart for a swim and they swim for free! Public Swim *admission fee/policy applies.

February 21, 2015 Come out and get your game on at the 3rd Annual Pond Hockey Tournament at The ROC Rink from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Teams of 3 - 5 are welcome for this 3 on 3 style tournament. Prizes will be awarded for winning teams in the two categories (Adult 18+ and Youth 12 - 17). (GTTI): Get S.E.T. for Employment in Seasonal Maintenance - The S.E.T. program provides York Region residents with valuable skills, tools, and certifications for securing employment. March 13, 2015 The Tribute Show, featuring the Legends of Rock & Roll and Country Music, presented by Celsk Benefit Promotions Inc. at The Stephen Leacock Theatre starting at 8 PM. May 23, 2015 Georgina Salutes: It's a day for the community to honour and remember the sacrifices made by those who serve our country. Enjoy a day of non-stop music, restored military vehicles, hunger satisfying BBQ'd food, face painting for the kids, exhibitions from re-enactors, and a silent auction. It will also feature active service personnel from The Queens York Rangers who will bring an array of military hardware, including their reconnaissance "G-Wagon". June 6, 2015 Youth-a-Palooza: An excellent opportunity for the youth in Georgina to come out and explore youth orientated activities. Free fun, prizes and entertainment at the Georgina Ice Palace (90 Wexford Road, Keswick) from 11 AM to 3 PM.
June 20, 2015 Georgina Gathering: Enjoy Highland Dancing, pipers, heavy events, tug of war, vendors, live music, Georgina's largest ever yard sale, refreshments, native drums, and fun for the whole family. Admission is FREE and parking is $10. Sutton Fairgrounds (1 Fairpark Lane, Sutton) from 9 AM to 5 PM. Donations of cash and non-perishable food items are being accepted in support of the Georgina Community Food Pantry.

August 15, 2015 Painted Perch Festival: Jackson's Point Village Association BIA will be hosting their 3rd Annual Painted Perch Festival in the Jackson's Point Parkette (Dalton Road and Lake Drive). It will be an afternoon and evening of fun and excitement for the whole family. The kids can enjoy games, crafts, face painting, and live music featuring lots of local talent. Don't forget to check out all of the wonderful handcrafted perch and vote for your favorite! There will also be an array of vendors, artisans, and some great food and drinks to enjoy.

October 22, 2015 One Dark Night: Come and see what haunts Georgina through this interactive multimedia experience about Georgina's eerie past. The evening features local ghosts and chilling stories. October 24, 2015 Family Fright Fiesta: Visit Georgina Pioneer Village (26557 Civic Centre Road, Keswick) in the dark of night as we bring it to life in the spirit of the Halloween season. There will be lots of activities for the whole family from 5:30 PM to 9 PM! Crafts and pumpkins while quantities last.
October 31, 2015 Halloween Haunt - Halloween Ghost Walk: The Sutton BIA presents thrills and chills for ghost hunters young and old with a tour through the haunted nooks and crannies of Sutton (High Street, Sutton).

November 14, 2015 Keswick Santa Claus Parade: Dress up in your winter woollies and join us for this year's parade as Santa comes to town.
November 21, 2015 Festival of Lights: Enjoy the magic and splendour of the holiday season as we light up the Civic Centre grounds in this annual event. Take part in sing-alongs with Mayor & Council, a visit with Santa, and witness the unveiling of the lights. It's an event you won't want to miss!
