A Guide To Community Giving
The Town of Georgina is expanding at a very fast rate and in its endeavour to provide recreation enjoyment for all the residents, the Town of Georgina would like to offer this special opportunity to make memories last. Enhancements will be made to existing parks and recreation facilities with trees, park benches, picnic tables, play fields, iron garbage receptacles, walkways and trails, special needs equipment and recreational equipment. The offer is open to all residents, organizations, service clubs, professional associations, neighbourhood associations and foundations to participate.
Purpose
The purpose of Georgina's Dedication program is to remember and celebrate the people, groups, events and achievements that have brought positive change and difference to the community. Commemorations will be celebrated through dedicated trees, park benches or equipment. These items will reside in Georgina's parks for many years, allowing residents as well as visitors to view and appreciate the memory of the person or event being remembered.
