The main purpose of the project is to identify the workforce and their skills that currently leave our communities every day for work. The goal of the project is to determine the required skills for existing community initiatives and businesses within our communities, and develop recommendations that will lead to the creation of high quality employment and business opportunities to help keep our workforce within our own communities rather than exporting them.
The focus group sessions will provide a forum for community members and business owners to provide input and insight into the project. It will require approximately 2-2.5 hours of your time commitment to probe a variety of issues related to the project. For your commitment in attending the focus groups we will provide you with a $10 gas gift card.
