Pesticide By-law Now In Effect
The Town of Georgina passed Pesticide By-law 2007-0085 (REG-1) to protect the health, safety and well-being of its residents and the environment. The By-law is now in effect. Non-essential use of pesticides on private or public property within the boundaries of the Town of Georgina is not permitted. Charges can be laid against persons that apply, contract or permit the application pesticides.
