As Georgina’s population continues to grow, the Town is looking to develop a new neighbourhood park in Sutton to meet the needs of present and future residents. A neighbourhood park was planned as part of the subdivision design.
The Julia Munro Park is planned to be a destination park to serve residents within a one-to-three kilometre radius in the northwest Sutton Development Area. The park may include junior and senior playgrounds, water play, multi-use court(s), open play area, trails and passive open space. Parking and path lighting is also a consideration.
