Building Georgina public engagement opportunities

You are here

Have your say on the design of the new Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC) and the new Civic Centre. Public engagement opportunities get underway this month and will provide residents with the chance to offer feedback and ideas for these two new facilities.

Residents are invited to attend each of the public input sessions to provide input on these two Town projects.

MURC – May 27, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic College School, 185 Glenwoods Ave, Keswick

Civic Centre – May 28, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. the ROC, 26479 Civic Centre Rd., Keswick

The Town launched Building Georgina to highlight major Town projects. These include the MURC, new Civic Centre, West Park Redevelopment, Sutton Community Park, the new Pefferlaw Fire Hall, the Link Phase 2 and 3, and other future projects that will enhance the community.

A dedicated Building Georgina webpage is available on the Town’s website providing a one-stop shop for updates, reports, questions and answers, and upcoming engagement opportunities. Information on the projects is also circulated to Town facilities, and communicated online and in print.
