Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week is November 1 to 7. Carbon Monoxide is a poisonous, odorless and tasteless gas produced by burning natural gases and other materials that contain carbon like gasoline, propane and wood. The signs of CO poisoning often look like flu symptoms. Don’t be caught unaware by this ‘silent killer’. Install CO alarms at home to alert you so you can get out safe.

Do you have question about carbon monoxide alarms? Georgina Fire will be at Canadian Tire, 24270 Woodbine Ave, Keswick to answer your questions on Tuesday, November 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Visit the Ontario Fire Safety and Public Education website for more tips on how to protect yourself and your family.
