Georgina appoints new Deputy CAO

The Town of Georgina has appointed Ryan Cronsberry to the position of Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Mr. Cronsberry’s career spans almost 20 years assuming progressively responsible roles at the Town.

“Ryan’s career at the Town of Georgina has positioned him well to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of this senior role,” said CAO David Reddon. “Ryan has developed exceptional issues management skills, and this, along with his experience are critical to this important role at the Town. I look forward to his continued leadership, enthusiasm and commitment as we work together to ensure the services provided to our growing community are efficient, effective and offer value to our residents and businesses.”

Mr. Cronsberry began his career in Georgina as a summer student. Since then, he has progressed through the organization to the Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement and most recently as the Acting Deputy CAO. Ryan holds a diploma in Law and Security Administration – Police Foundations, multiple related certifications, the AMCTO Municipal Administration and Employment Law and Human Resources Program, and a Master’s Certificate in Municipal Management through the Schulich School of Business.   

Mr. Cronsberry will continue to provide management oversight to the Municipal Law Enforcement and Clerks Divisions.
