A heat warning has been issued for York Region. Environment Canada says humidex values through to Friday, Aug. 13 will reach 40 C, with temperatures ranging from the high 20’s to low 30’s.
High temperatures, high humidity, lack of shade and minimal air movement – both indoors and outdoors – can put your health at risk, causing heat-related illnesses.
