Royal Canadian Legion Branch 356 Sutton and District will be holding Remembrance Day services on Nov. 11 starting at 10:30 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, changes have been made to ensure the health and safety of members and the community. The Legion is asking the public not to attend services this year.
There will be no parade and only a small service will take place at both the Keswick and Sutton cenotaphs. Attendees will include only a few invited guest and members. Wreaths will be placed prior to the services. There will be no public speaking just a brief ceremony where the national anthem, Last Post and Reveille will be played along with the royal anthem.
Pefferlaw has also decided not to hold a Remembrance Day service this year.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Let us remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for Canada, and all the veterans who have served and continue to serve our country. Lest we forget.
