The Town of Georgina honoured members of the community with the 2022 Volunteer Award of Merit at a ceremony at the ROC on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
“Great communities are built with the help of dedicated volunteers who offer their time, energy and skills for the benefit of others,” said Mayor Margaret Quirk. “The Volunteer Award of Merit recognizes people who contribute to making Georgina a better place. Volunteering is the ultimate form of public service and volunteers have a tremendous impact on the community. I would like to thank all the award recipients for their generosity and the incredible work they do every day.”
