Royal Canadian Legion Branch 356 Sutton and District will be holding Remembrance Day services on Wednesday, Nov. 11 starting at 10:30 a.m. However, due to the pandemic, changes have been made to ensure the health and safety of members and the community.
There will be no parade and only a small service will take place at both the Keswick and Sutton Cenotaphs. Attendees will include only a few invited guest and members. Due to provincial restrictions, and in order to maintain social distancing, the public is asked not to attend the services.
Wreaths for the services will be placed prior to the services. There will be no public speaking just a brief ceremony where the national anthem, Last Post and Reveille will be played along with the royal anthem.
The Legion asks that you do remember and take time to talk with your children about what this day is all about.
