Calling all Seniors!
The Regional Municipality of York is committed to supporting community-based programs and services that enable residents to age in-place. For some this means staying in their homes for as long as possible. For others it means staying as close to home as possible to ensure that social and community connections remain intact.
For the past several months, York Region’s Community & Health Services (CHS) team has been carefully crafting a series of seniors profile segments that are intended to guide future program and service delivery refinements that will better support the Region’s diverse seniors population.
urbanMetrics is looking to execute an engagement process to better understand the core and underlying needs of seniors in York Region. Specifically, urbanMetrics is looking to identify:
- the top-ten programs and services required to serve the needs of seniors;
- programs and services for seniors that are operating at or above capacity; and,
- program and services that are missing in communities across York Region.
How can you participate?
Please join urbanMetrics for a 30-minute interactive workshop where we would like to hear the insights of local seniors and caregivers.
