The heat is on this week in Georgina. Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Yellow-level Heat Warning for Georgina and all of York Region.
With the hot temperatures, the Town is reminding everyone to take precautions to stay cool, hydrated and safe.
Cooling centres are available during regular business hours at all branches of Georgina Public Library, the Georgina Ice Palace, the Link, the Multi-Use Recreation Complex and all Club 55 locations. For locations, hours and additional community resources, visit georgina.ca/CommunityResources.
