The Town of Georgina is reminding residents that several warming centres are available as extremely cold weather moves through the area.
Warming centres provide a safe, heated space for anyone needing relief from the cold. Locations are open during regular hours of operation, except on statutory holidays.

Warming spaces are also available at Georgina Public Library, including branches at MURC, Keswick, Pefferlaw and the Peter Gzowski Library in Sutton.
Residents are encouraged to check on neighbours, friends and family members who may be more vulnerable during periods of extreme cold.
