The Replacement Civic Centre will open to the public for regular business hours on Monday, March 16. Services will continue at the current location until end of day, Friday, March 13. Consistent with the current building, residents can access the Service Georgina counter where a wide range of services are available. There is also a Development Services counter located on the second floor, where residents can access services related to building and planning.
The Replacement Civic Centre is located beside the current building and keeps the same address and phone number: 26557 Civic Centre Rd., 905-476-4301. The new building is fully accessible, including the elevator. Parking spaces are available outside the main doors for visitors, including anyone with accessibility requirements. Residents and visitors accessing in-person services as of March 16 are to use the new driveway entrance located immediately south of the new building to access the visitor parking lot.
Council meetings remain virtual at this time. The date for the return of in-person attendance at Council meetings will be announced soon. To learn more about participating in a Council meeting, visit georgina.ca/CouncilMeetings.
