The Northern York South Simcoe Ontario Health Team, in partnership with the Town of Georgina, is offering a Health and Wellness Education Series for the community.
The series includes 10 in-person sessions, four virtual sessions and two special engagement events. One event will focus on Indigenous engagement, while the other is dedicated to the Pefferlaw community.
Topics will include aging, mental health, caregiver support, chronic disease and more, aiming to provide accessible and relevant information to all residents.
The first session, Caring for the Caregiver, takes place Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC), 261 Garrett Styles Dr., Keswick. The session is provided by the Aurora-Newmarket Family Health Team.
