Due to the strike at Canada Post, mail service to and from the Town of Georgina has been impacted. As a result of the labour disruption, mail services for documents, payments and notices to and from the Town will be delayed.
During the strike, residents can access Town services and make payments electronically or in person at the Civic Centre. Do not send cheque payments by mail at this time.
Residents can enroll in the Tax and Water Portal to receive their water bills and view transactions. If there are questions on how to sign up, visit georgina.ca/TaxandWaterPortal.
Parking tickets can be paid or disputed online through the Town’s Parking and Bylaw Self-serve Portal.
Statutory planning notices will be posted on the Town’s website at georgina.ca/PlanningNotices.
Many Town services are available online including pet licences, burn permits, marriage licences, building permits and more. Visit georgina.ca/OnlineServices to see what’s available.
The Town is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed.
