The Town of Georgina is advancing its commitment to housing affordability. On Jan. 21, 2026, Council authorized a Contribution Agreement with Housing York Inc. (HYI), York Region’s largest community housing provider, which was selected to deliver an affordable housing project that will feature multi-purpose community space in Keswick.
The project, located at 187–195 The Queensway South, will feature a five-storey building with 86 units, including 50 affordable housing units (32 community housing and 18 transitional housing) and 36 emergency housing units, along with 8,000 sq. ft. of multi-purpose community space.
