SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED by Environment Canada

At 7:04 P.M. Edt, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
This line of severe thunderstorms is located from keldon to wyevale, moving East at 70 km/h.
Hazard: Torrential rainfall with amounts possibly in excess of 50 mm. Strong wind gusts.
Locations impacted include: Barrie, Shelburne, alliston, New Tecumseth and Innisfil.
This thunderstorm is weakening.
Local utility outages are likely. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm Approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
Emergency management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather Approaches.
