Summer starts here – family fun in Georgina this July

School is out and summer is officially underway in Georgina. To keep your family busy, there are plenty of activities and events for the entire family to enjoy.

Canada Day celebrations at the ROC and Georgina Village Museum
Get ready to party at the ROC and Georgina Village Museum on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., ending with a fireworks finale. It will be a fun day full of exciting festivities for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities, inflatables, food and more. The opening ceremonies take place at the main stage at 2 p.m. Avoid parking delays and take advantage of complimentary shuttle buses to and from the ROC all day long. Visit georgina.ca/CanadaDay for more information.

MURC Summer Pop-Up Market
Shop local this summer at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC). Discover unique, handmade and locally crafted goods at the MURC Summer Pop-Up Market. Browse a variety of vendors featuring local artisans, bakers, makers and creators while supporting small businesses in our community. There are two market dates – July 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Aug. 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Have fun at the splash pads
Looking to stay cool this summer? Take the kids to one of the Town’s four splash pad locations at the ROC, Constable Garrett Styles Park, Whipper Watson Park and Julia Munro Park. All are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Find out more at georgina.ca/SplashPads.

Beaches and waterfront parks
