Celebrate the unveiling of Georgina's newest community gathering space as the Town officially opens Terry Fox Memorial Park with a ceremonial ribbon cutting today, Friday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m.
Join the Mayor and Members of Council, along with Treasure Hill, special guest Fred Fox, brother of Terry Fox and representative of the Terry Fox Foundation, and Laurie Carriere, organizer of the Georgina Terry Fox Run, for this special event.
The park is located at 50 Thomas Smith St., which is west of Woodbine Avenue off Old Homestead Road.
Following the ceremony, the park will officially be open to the public.
