Develop your business plan
A business plan is an outline for the development, execution and control of a new or existing business. Visit the York Small Business Enterprise Centre or South Lake Community Futures Development Corporation for one-to-one consultation on business plan development or access Canada Business Network's online guide to writing a business plan.
Register your business
Access in-person, one-to-one support for business registrations, name searches and incorporation at York Small Business Enterprise Centre or South Lake Community Futures Development Corporation or visit Service Ontario online for a step-by-step guide. Once registered, consider using a trade-mark to protect your business name. You can also sign-up on the Town of Georgina’s Business Directory. Depending on the nature of your business, you may have to register at the Town of Georgina.

Restaurants or Catering Businesses
The Town of Georgina does not license Restaurants.
There are a number of forms, and applications that you need to fill out to for different licences. The Clerk's team will assist you with your project to ensure it meets town requirements. Prior to filing out a licence application, please consult with the Town’s Licensing Coordinator to make sure you fill out the correct application.
