Annual Adoption Open House and Silent Auction

Join the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre for its Annual Adoption Open House and Silent Auction on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026.

Residents are invited to visit the shelter, meet animals available for adoption and learn more about the work that goes into caring for animals in the community.

Event activities:

• Animal meet and greets: Spend time with animals available for adoption and perhaps meet your new best friend
• Shelter tours: Take a behind-the-scenes look at shelter operations and learn how staff care for animals
• Barbecue: Enjoy food and refreshments during your visit
• Silent auction: Bid on a variety of items while supporting the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre
• Additional activities will also be available throughout the day
