Pitch-In Community Clean-up Week from April 19-26, 2026

Participants can contact waste@georgina.ca to request a free Community Clean‑Up Kit. Pick up a kit, choose a location and help freshen up Town parks, trails and beaches. High school students can earn volunteer hours for participating.
Community Clean‑Up Kits are available for pick up at the following locations:
  • Georgina Civic Centre
  • All Georgina Public Library branches

 Participate by following the steps below:

  1. Register to participate by contacting waste@georgina.ca.
  2. Choose a public park, greenspace or trail to clean.
  3. Pickup a clean-up kit.
  4. Follow the safety tips provided in the kit.
  5. Contact waste@georgina.ca once waste is collected so staff can dispose of it appropriately.
  6. Tag us in before and after photos on Facebook @townofgeorgina and using the hashtag #cleanupgeorgina.
