Sean Walker to bring the Stanley Cup to Georgina
The Keswick native and defenceman for the Carolina Hurricanes celebrated the Stanley Cup championship on June 14, 2026.
He will bring the Stanley Cup to the Georgina Ice Palace on Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This is a first-come first-served event and a photo opportunity only. Due to the large number of people expected for this event and with the limited time Sean and the Stanley Cup will be in Georgina, Sean will not be signing anything in an effort to see as many people as possible.
Photo and video
Media and Town of Georgina staff will be taking photos and video footage at Town of Georgina special events. These images may be used, re-used and published in news stories, social media and on websites, in addition to distributed to our event partners.
