Save the date: Terry Fox Memorial Park official opening
The Town is celebrating the opening of its newest community gathering space, Terry Fox Memorial Park.
Join the Mayor and Council, together with Treasure Hill representatives and special guest Fred Fox, brother of Terry Fox and representative of the Terry Fox Foundation, for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially open the new park. Following the ceremony, Terry Fox Memorial Park will be open to the public to explore and enjoy the new amenities. Light refreshments will be served.

The Georgina Terry Fox Run takes place on Sunday, Sept. 20 at North Gwillimbury Park, 857 Lake Dr., Roches Point. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the start time is 10 a.m.
