Notice of closure
Attention: The Building Division will be closed from Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, at 12 p.m. (noon) and reopening Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
Any inspections requested before 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday will be scheduled on the next business day, Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
Any inspections requested after 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday will be processed on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, and scheduled for Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
Inspection request
Your inspection request must be received before 3 p.m. We will endeavour to inspect the following business day. However, sometimes inspection requests exceed available resources. Occasionally, we may need to reschedule your inspection to the next day.
If we find that we will not be able to attend, we will try to call the contact person.
Note: No work that requires inspection shall be concealed until a building inspector has inspected and approved the work.
