Notice of closure
Attention: The Building Division will be closed from Friday Feb. 13, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. and re-opening Tuesday Feb. 17, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
Any inspections requested prior to 3 p.m. on Friday will be scheduled on the next business day, Tuesday Feb. 17, 2026.
Any inspections requested after 3 p.m. on Friday will be processed on Tuesday Feb. 17, 2026, and scheduled for Wednesday Feb. 18, 2026.
Inspection request
Your inspection request must be received before 3 p.m. We will endeavour to inspect the following business day. However, sometimes inspection requests exceed available resources. Occasionally, we may need to reschedule your inspection to the next day.
If we find that we will not be able to attend, we will try to call the contact person.
Note: No work that requires inspection shall be concealed until a building inspector has inspected and approved the work.
