Looking for a fun afternoon at the Stephen Leacock Theatre? Enjoy a free screening of Silver Screamers, a heartwarming documentary following a group of seniors as they create their own low-budget horror film. Check it out on Friday, Oct. 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and stay after the screening for a Q and A with co-producer Sean Cisterna. Free tickets available at Club 55 Keswick.

For more than 30 years, the Georgina Senior Games have brought the community together through fun and fitness. Whether you are a returning participant or trying an event for the first time, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Discover the fascinating customs and etiquette surrounding death and remembrance in the Victorian era or check out spooky apothecary décor. Family Fright
Enjoy an evening of Halloween fun, family-friendly frights and spooky surprises at the annual Family Fright event on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Georgina Village Museum. Explore the haunted village, brave the spooky trail, enjoy the Monster Mash Dance Bash and take part in fun activities for the whole family. This year, children can also become Halloween detectives in the Great Missing Spell Book Mystery. Follow the clues hidden throughout the village to solve the mystery and find the missing spell book.
Halloween workshops at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex
Check out some fun Halloween workshops at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex. There is pumpkin fun where kids can get hands on with pumpkin carving,ghosts and goodies where the kids will enjoy making a creative Halloween craft, and enchanted stillness – a meditation, magic and movement workshop. Halloween Pool Haunt
Get frightfully soaked at the Halloween Pool Haunt at the Georgina Leisure Pool on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. or, at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Enjoy enchanting games, ghoulish giveaways and hocus pocus. It’s spook-tacular fun for the whole family.
Halloween youth party at the MURC
Come out and celebrate everything spooky this season at the Halloween youth party at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex on Friday, Oct. 30 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy an evening full of Halloween-themed activities and programs including a Halloween movie, costume contest, pumpkin fun, sports, a public swim, a Halloween-themed creation in the Maker Space, glow-in-the-dark pickleball, yoga, games and more. Register in advance to secure a spot for yoga and swimming. For ages 11 to 17. This is a free event. Monetary and donations to the Georgina Food Pantry are welcome.
Last Curbside Giveaway of 2026
Saturday, Oct. 4 is the final Curbside Giveaway Day this year. Put unwanted items out at the curb for others to take free of charge between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. All unclaimed items must be removed by 5 p.m.
Two Dark Nights
Join us for Two Dark Nights at Georgina Village Museum on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join the Georgina Paranormal Society on an intensive, three-hour investigation of the museum’s most haunted buildings using state-of-the-art ghost-hunting equipment. Space is limited. Pre-registration required. 18+.
Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts
