Civic holiday closures

All Town offices and most facilities will be closed on Monday, Aug. 3 and reopening on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026. 

• Georgina Civic Centre  - Closed
• Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre - Closed
• Georgina Gym - Closed
• Georgina Ice Palace - Closed
• Georgina Leisure Pool - Closed
• Georgina Village Museum - Grounds will be open for Canada Day celebrations from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Complex - Closed
• Georgina Public Library - Closed
• Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts/Club 55 Keswick - Closed
• Sutton Arena - Closed
• The Link - Closed

• The ROC Chalet - Closed

  No recycling, green bin or yard waste collection will take place on Aug. 3. Pickups will be one day later for the rest of the week, starting on Aug. 4.
