The Walter Cup is coming to Georgina!
Keswick’s own PWHL champion Erin Ambrose will bring the Walter Cup to the Georgina Ice Palace on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The event will take place on the blue ice pad and include opening remarks, followed by an opportunity for photos with Erin and the Walter Cup.
This is a first-come, first-served event and a photo opportunity only. Erin will not be signing items to help ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to participate.
A two-time Olympic medallist, Erin began playing hockey in Georgina at the age of five and has gone on to represent Canada on the world stage and compete in the PWHL.
Photo and video
Media and Town of Georgina staff will be taking photos and video footage at Town of Georgina special events. These images may be used, re-used and published in news stories, social media and on websites, in addition to distributed to our event partners.
