Looking to welcome a furry friend into your family? Visit the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre on Saturday, Aug. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. for Paw-Up Adoption Day and meet some of the dogs and cats currently looking for their forever homes.
Visitors can meet adoptable pets, explore a silent auction featuring pet-themed prizes and receive a gift for attending. Complimentary freezies will also be available while supplies last.
Dog meet-and-greet schedule
To ensure each dog has time to rest and decompress throughout the event, meet-and-greet opportunities will take place during scheduled time slots:

Noon to 1 p.m. – All dogs

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Hoagie and Boomer

2 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Bronson and Jagger

3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Thor and Hoagie
