Fridge Hours of Operation: Donations and food access will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Anyone can contribute to the fridge 24/7, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility. The Georgina Community Food Pantry (along with staff and volunteers) plays a crucial role in the management of the fridge, overseeing sign-ups, volunteer management, and coordinating food donations.

York Region is partnering with Blue Door and Victory Baptist Church to open a new seasonal shelter program in East Gwillimbury.

• The Out of the Cold – East Gwillimbury Site will operate nightly at 18408 Yonge Street from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. between December 18, 2023, to April 30, 2024
• The program will provide 20 overnight spaces for adults ages 16+ who are experiencing homelessness.
