The Month of April has been proclaimed "Be A Donor Month" throughout the Town of Georgina to raise awareness of the need for organ transplant donors for many Ontarians currently awaiting a life-saving organ transplant, and encouraging citizens to learn more about organ and tissue donation and transplantation and to pledge their support by registering as a donor at BeADonor.ca.
