Town Council has proclaimed the month of February, 2026 as 'Black History Month' throughout the Town of Georgina in recognition of the legacy of Black Canadians, to celebrate and commemorate the legacy, history and achievements that Black Canadians have made and continue to make in our community and country. This proclamation encourages our community to honour the rich heritage, diverse culture and invaluable contributions of Black Canadians.
