Town Council has proclaimed the week of November 2-8, 2025 as 'National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week' throughout the Town of Georgina to recognize the invaluable role shelters play in the lives of animals in our community and across the Province, and to encourage support and engagement with local animal shelters through volunteering, fostering, donating or adopting.
