As part of Phase 2 of the Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw Update, the Town has initiated a review of the parking and loading standards in Bylaw 500. These standards have not been comprehensively reviewed and updated since 1994. The results and findings of the review are intended to form the technical basis and for the implementation of parking and loading standards in a new comprehensive zoning bylaw for the Town.
The consulting firm Paradigm Transportation Solutions has been retained to undertake the study. There are two rounds of public engagement. The first round was held (December 10, 2026) to introduce the project and gather input.
The second virtual Public Open House will present preliminary project findings and gather feedback and answer questions related to parking and loading in the Town.
