Be part of the celebration: 2026 Cultural Festival applications are open
Join us on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The ROC Chalet in Georgina for a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of the rich diversity within our community. This exciting event will showcase culture through music, food, art, and shared experiences.
The Town of Georgina is excited to announce that applications are open and will close on July 13,2026.
We are inviting local cultural groups, performers, artists, food vendors, small businesses, and community organizations to help bring this special day to life.
Who can apply?
We’re seeking participants across a variety of areas, including:
- Cultural performances and workshops – Share music, dance, or storytelling, and optionally lead an interactive workshop.
- Food vendors – Offer authentic cultural dishes and beverages (must meet York Region Health regulations).
- Art exhibits and live demonstrations – Showcase or demonstrate traditional and contemporary art forms.
- Games and cultural activities – Engage attendees with interactive cultural experiences.
- Vendor village – Sell handmade goods, cultural items, and unique products.
- Community booths – Connect with attendees through cultural or newcomer-focused initiatives.
This festival is a celebration of community, connection, and culture. We would love for you to be part of it.

Media and Town of Georgina staff will be taking photos and video footage at Town of Georgina special events. These images may be used, re-used and published in news stories, social media and on websites, in addition to distributed to our event partners.
