The Town of Georgina Cultural Festival returns Sept.18 to Sept. 20 for a full weekend celebrating the cultures, traditions and stories that make our community vibrant.

HOME: A Celebration of All Things Canadian!
Join us as we kick off the Town of Georgina Cultural Festival on Friday, Sept.18, at 6 p.m. at the ROC Chalet.
This year’s Friday night theme is HOME — celebrating the place we all share and all those little things that make Canada feel like, well… home.
Grab your family, bring your friends and come out for an evening packed with Canadian-themed fun, including:
Fun, interactive Canadian-themed activities
Live DJ entertainment
Eats and treats by Messhall and Elpida Café & Roastery
Family-friendly fun for all ages
And don’t head home too early! At 8 p.m., look to the sky for a spectacular fireworks display to officially kick off the Cultural Festival weekend.
So throw on some red and white, bring the whole crew and join us for a night celebrating HOME.

Discover cultures from around the world at the heart of the Town of Georgina's Cultural Festival! Join us on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the ROC, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Experience a vibrant celebration of food, music, dance, art and cultural experiences from diverse communities. Don't forget to pick up your Food and Cultural Experiences Passport! Visit participating vendors to sample cultural foods and take part in unique cultural experiences as you collect stickers throughout the festival. It's a fun way for the whole family to explore, learn and celebrate the many cultures that make our community so vibrant.

Applications are now open for cultural groups, performers, artists, food participants, small businesses and community organizations interested in participating. Applications close on Sept 3, 2026.
Who can apply?
We’re seeking participants across a variety of areas, including:
- Cultural performances and workshops – Share music, dance or storytelling and optionally lead an interactive workshop.
- Food vendors – Offer authentic cultural dishes and beverages (must meet York Region Health regulations).
- Art exhibits and live demonstrations – Showcase or demonstrate traditional and contemporary art forms.
- Games and cultural activities – Engage attendees with interactive cultural experiences.
- Vendor village – Sell handmade goods, cultural items and unique products.
- Community booths – Connect with attendees through cultural, newcomer initiatives.
This festival is a celebration of community, connection and culture. We want you to be part of it.
Photo and video
Media and Town of Georgina staff will be taking photos and video footage at Town of Georgina special events. These images may be used, re-used and published in news stories, social media and on websites, in addition to distributed to our event partners.
