Celebrate spring in Georgina with events and activities for the whole family

Spring has arrived, and Georgina is buzzing with exciting activities and events for everyone. It’s the perfect time to head outdoors and enjoy the warmer weather. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, there are plenty of fun indoor activities to keep you entertained.

Easter swim
Come out to the public swim and in-water Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex or at the Georgina Leisure Pool on Saturday, April 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wristband and regular admission fee and policy apply to all swims. 

Registration for spring programs and summer camps is open
Spring is the perfect time to get active with Georgina’s exciting programs. With space still available, there’s something for every member of the family. Let’s get moving and have fun. Rec Pass
Get the most for your recreation dollars by purchasing a Georgina Rec Pass. It provides unlimited access to a variety of programs including fitness drop-in programs, the walking/running track, swimming drop-in programs, open gym sessions and skating drop-in programs. Learn more at georgina.ca/RecPass. Or, boost your fitness with gym training equipment with the Rec Pass +. The Town has partnered with Fitness Force for this membership add-on available exclusively to active Rec Pass members. The ROC – Taking fun to new heights! 
Winter may be over, but the ROC is getting ready for an even bigger and better spring. This May, the ROC launches into a season of outdoor adventures for all ages, featuring team‑building experiences, group activities and unforgettable end‑of‑year school field trips full of challenge and fun. With camps, special events and more, it is time to start planning your next visit. Get ready to climb, explore and experience everything the ROC has to offer.

Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts – Dino Light
Check out Dino Light at the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts on Thursday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. This glow-in-the-dark adventure by Lightwire Theatre is visually stunning for all ages. Praised for its cutting-edge blend of puppetry, technology and dance by audiences all over the world, the story is about a dinosaur wandering away from home and discovering a wonderful world of creatures that light up in the dark. Visit georgina.ca/SLT for more information, to purchase tickets and to see the complete lineup of shows, including fabulous tribute artists. 

Curbside Giveaway 
Curbside Giveaway Days are back, with the first one on Saturday, April 25. Put your unwanted items at the curb from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for other residents/neighbours to take free of charge. What treasures will you find? All unclaimed items must be removed by 5 p.m.

Georgina Cup Pickleball Tournament
Calling all pickleball enthusiasts. Get ready to serve up some fun at the Georgina Cup Pickleball Tournament on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC). Showcase your skills in multiple divisions, including men's, women's, mixed and 55+. The entry fee is $50 per participant for entry into one division or $75 per participant for entry into two divisions (maximum two). Secure your spot by registering in person at the MURC.
