Fire and Emergency Service Fees By-law

The  Fire and Emergency Services Fees By-law 2004-0131 (FI-4)   and  Amended Fire and Emergency Services Fees By-law 2013-0037 outline what services and types of inspections the fire department can charge a fee for.  

Please note that these by-laws will be repealed and that the new PDF icon Fire and Emergency Services Fees By-law 2016-0024 will go into effect as of July 1st, 2016.

Open Air Burning

The  2016-0019 (REG-1) Regulate Open Air Burning sets out the rules for setting fires on properties in the Town of Georgina.  As of July 1st, 2016 a $35.00 fee will be in effect to obtain an Open Air Burning Permit.

Fireworks By-law

The  Fireworks By-law 2014-002 (LI-3) controls the sale and setting off of fireworks in the Town of Georgina.  For a licence to sell fireworks, please visit the Business Licenses web-page or contact the Clerks Department. 

Fire Route Application

To have your fire route designated under the terms of By-law No. 2002-0046 (TR-1) and to manage and control parking of vehicles in the Town, a  Fire Route Application Package must be completed and submitted for approval.
