Tax Rebate and Incentive Programs

Working farms are eligible for a municipal property tax reduction under this program.

• Farm Property Class Tax Rate Program

Swamp or wetland properties may be eligible for a property tax reduction under this program.

• Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry
• Conservation Land Tax Incentive Program

Forested properties may be eligible for a property tax reduction. 

Ontario Woodlot Association

Register charities in commercial or industrial properties are eligible for a property tax rebate.

Please submit and return to the Municipal offices by February 28.

Seniors, low-income seniors and low-income disabled persons may be eligible for a tax deferral program. 

Senior Deferral Application Form

Seniors may be eligible for a property tax rebate if approved under this program. This program must be applied for annually.

Seniors Property Tax Rebate Program

If there have been any major changes to your property such as a structure demolition or a fire, you may be entitled to a reduction in your taxes.
