Simply put, ingredients you use in your diet that are environmentally friendly and help to reduce food waste. Plant-based foods such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, peas, nuts and lentils generally use less energy, land and water and have lower greenhouse gas intensities than animal-based foods. And let's not forget, putting leftovers to work can also be considered a climate hero! This program is designed to maintain and improve mobility. This class will increase muscular strength as well as balance and coordination. We will incorporate gentle exercises and stretches. This is a 55+ friendly activity but anyone 18+ is welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring with them their own water bottle, fitness mat. Fitness mats will not be provided on-site.
HIIT Boot Camp

A fun, high energy one hour cardio and strength training class involving circuit/interval training, running drills, muscle conditioning, and exercises using your body weight and different equipment will give your body an all-over workout. Anyone can do this class from beginner to advanced as all exercises can be modified. Every class is different so you never get bored. No special equipment needed.

Zumba Toning

Zumba Toning combines body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work infused with Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training fitness party. The challenge of adding resistance helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged! Pawlished Puppy
Pawlished Puppy is a 6-week class for puppies less than 5 months of age - focusing on basic skills, proper socialization and how to build an unbreakable bond with your pup! This class aims to make training FUN and helps create good communication between you and your puppy, builds confidence in yourself as a handler and helps you navigate the world with a better-behaved and well-adjusted puppy!
Note: This training class is geared towards puppies under 5 months of age and addresses basic skills and socialization. It is an outdoor, group class and the program runs rain or shine!

This program will teach participants all they need to know about Archery through playing interactive games and engaging activities. The program will focus on safety, proper stance, technique and how to hit the target using a camp bow! This program is suited for persons of all abilities and all equipment is provided.
Indoor Volleyball (Pick-up)

This pick-up program is for players with a mixed skill level. Bumping, setting, blocking and spiking are fairly consistent, you might also see some organized attacks. This program is for players who enjoy volleyball and are looking for a fun time.
Pickleball - All ages
Don't be shy...come out and try it!!! This mini-tennis game is played by 2 or 4 people on a badminton-sized court using wood paddle racquets and a plastic, poly baseball with holes. Pickleball is a combination of Ping-Pong, tennis, and badminton and has been enjoyed for over 20 years by people of all ages.
Pickleball - Intermediate and Advanced
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in North America - and in Georgina! We're offering this time slot for players who are intermediate to advanced in their Pickleball skill set to come out and play against other players. If you are new to the game of Pickleball, we offer many opportunities to play the game throughout the week. Speak to a staff member at the front desk for more information.
Training and Certification
National Lifeguard
Participants will learn to prevent accidents, identify hazards, determine safe practices, and educate the public about risks associated with aquatic activities and how to be safe around water. They are also trained to spot potential trouble and intervene before it becomes life-threatening. Includes a 400m timed swim. Lifeguarding is a fun, exciting and rewarding job; it is also a job that requires an enormous amount of responsibility. 100% attendance is mandatory.
Prerequisite: 15 years of age by the end of the course, Bronze Cross & Standard First Aid with CPR 'C'.
Swim Instructor
The Swim Instructor portion of the course prepares the individuals to teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life program. Candidates acquire proven teaching methods, planning skills, and a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques.This course is 100% mandatory attendance.
Prerequisites: 15 years of age by the end of the course; Bronze Cross or NLS certification (need not be current).
