Corporate Services is responsible for a dynamic mix of corporate and strategic services, including oversight of the following:

Corporate Communications
This division works with Council and staff to share information with the public about Town programs, services and events, along with emergency and crisis communications, through the Town of Georgina web page, e-news, social and print media.
Corporate Strategy and Transformation
This division leads key strategic initiatives including the Corporate Strategic Plan, Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, Climate Change Action Plan and supports health and wellness facility/services expansion in Georgina, along with the Affordable Housing and Homelessness initiative. Further, it manages broadband expansion and the Town's grant funding applications and administration.
Economic Development and Tourism
Economic Development and Tourism is the division that works to strengthen and diversify the Town's economy. It has adopted a four-pillar strategy that focuses on the following key areas to fulfil this mandate:
- Investment attraction
- Business retention and expansion
- Tourism, arts and culture
- Supporting vibrant downtown areas
Clerks Division
The range of services provided through the Clerk’s Division include, but are not limited to:
- Secretariat services for Council and Committees of Council; bylaw preparation
business, lottery and marriage licences - Statutory obligations under the Municipal Act, Planning Act, Development Charges Act, Ontario Heritage Act, Vital Statistics Act, Marriage Act, Municipal Elections Act, Freedom of Information Act, and other pieces of legislation
- Officiating of marriage ceremonies, records management
- Provision of Commissioner of Oaths services
- Co-ordination and administration of certain legal files including land conveyances
- Insurance and risk management
Information Technology Services Division
The Information Technology Services Division (ITS) is responsible for planning, strategically implementing and supporting the appropriate and innovative use of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure used throughout the municipality. ITS also assists all divisions and departments in implementing, integrating and streamlining business processes and helping to maintain business continuity.
