We need you for Canada Day 150!
Georgina’s Canada Day 150 Celebration is a free community event in which residents and visitors alike are welcome. Be a volunteer at this fun-filled family event that is sure to go down in history!
Why get involved?
Celebrate Earth Week by planting your own tree! The Town of Georgina has purchased 800 seedlings for residents and businesses to plant on their own properties.
The complimentary seedlings can be picked up at the Georgina Civic Centre, The Link, any of the Georgina Public Libraries (Keswick, Sutton, Pefferaw) or at the Georgina Leisure Pool (while quantities last, maximum five seedlings per family).
Weather permitting, the Town will begin its Spring Street Sweeping operations the week of April 18. This year, we have added more street sweepers to speed up the program and provide a more efficient service for residents. Please avoid parking on Town roads when the sweepers are in your area.
