The Town hosts a variety of celebrations and events throughout the year,we call these Town Events. We also support a variety of events run by other organizations, these are called Town-Supported Events and identified with an asterik (*).
Spring 2022
The Georgina Farmers’ Market features more than 30 local vendors offering a wide variety of local products including produce, meats, baked goods and handmade products.

This is a Town-supported event and is managed by the Georgina Farmer's Market.
Georgina’s Volunteer Award of Merit recognizes individuals, teams and groups who are contributing to the betterment of the local community and Georgina as a whole.
Nomination process starts in February and runs until the end of March.
Ceremony happens in late May.
All event courses follow Lake Drive and you will run along the beautiful shores of Lake Simcoe! This course is FAST and FLAT. The community of Georgina has embraced our event and you will have lots of spectator support along the way including a couple of dedicated cheering stations as well as music from HITS 105.5 FM along the course to keep your energy and motivation up!

This is a town-supported event that is managed by Endurance Event Productions.
Browse war memorablilia displays, restored WW2 trucks and equipment, and experience reenactments from 1812 to WW2.

This is a Town-supported event hosted by Georgina Pride
Music In the Streets is a free, public event, showcasing live music in the Georgina community. 10-12 performance areas will provide music from students, instructors and musicians from the community. Enjoy the music while you browse the Pioneer Village. An all-day BBQ is available which will support a local charity.

Run along the south shore of Lake Simcoe through the quiet communities of Georgina on this flat, fast and scenic Half Marathon and Boston Qualifier Marathon course.
Both the 1/2 marathon and full marathon courses are measured and Athletics Canada Certified - which means they are accurate and are qualifiers for things such as the New York and Boston Marathon's.
You will be running from De La Salle Park, along Lake Drive North on an out and back along a quiet road with lots of shade and views of stunning properties.

For the last quarter century, in Georgina, an ever evolving group of dedicated artists has worked together to show their art to the public.
This two-day self-guided tour is your opportunity to visit homes and studios, that for the rest of the year, are available by appointment only.

The Live Laugh Love Country Music Festival is taking over the Briars Resort and Spa on Lake Simcoe in Georgina. The three-day exclusive country music festival will feature 21 Canadian country greats.
